There's not much dedicated creative space in our place.
I have managed to eeek out a tiny little bit in our former laundry. In our 1930's house, the laundry was outside the back door, but a renovation has incorporated it into our lounge area. It is walled off, with a door, but it still has what used to be an external window (now looking into the loungeroom).
Primarily this is a storage area with shelving holding all manner of stuff, but it does have a bench big enough to keep the sewing machine on, and cupboards (from the trading post)full of stuff.
There's always the kitchen table or the knee when this tiny room feels too claustrophobic. It's also pretty chilly!
I've just spent the morning at the primary school, helping to celebrate Japanese Matsuri Day by performing in a very minimal recreation of a folk tale called Tanabata. I got to be GOD OF THE SKIES/HEAVENS with some other lovely Mums. Our first run-through was for a packed house of Grade 5/6's and preps.
What a crack-up!!

Isn't lack of space frustrating! Sometimes you find little corners to inhabit. Looks like you have found a great place to create...
Hi Emma, thanks for stopping by & nice to find you, I have to add your workspace is the first that I relate to and great to see you can create some really lovely stuff from there. Your blog is an inspiring read. Thanks.
Your little space is lovely! I dream of a house with a huge studio.
Hope you are having a wonderful time in Bali.
