seemed like a good idea at the time

Pepper went to a party today. It was a demolition party, or to be more precise, "a trash the house we're going to demolish party" The two eldest kids of the family were allowed to invite their mates to come and splash old tins of paint all over the place. On the roof, handfuls of the stuff, over the walls, eachother...What a lark.
Until a late-arriving Dad, aghast at the paint encrusted kiddies, asked the parents "it isn't enamel paint is it?"
Ooooops, that's the one that a bit hard to get off isn't it? And a bit toxic?
Well, the paint was from head to toe. When Pepper got dropped home, she was light blue, dressed in new op-shop clothing and had been scrubbed with turps, hair full of baby-oil. She looked as if she had been dragged through a deep fat fryer backwards. But she was STILL covered in paint.
We had a lovely afternoon with the turps, a nit comb, baby-oil, shampoo and conditioner, which I do not want to ever re-live thank you very much.
No photos please.
