Made a little pitstop on the way to Maffra.
I found these gorgeous pillowcases and a 1973 embroidery book with some "way out" projects, including this one of a lurid breast-plate/vest. Doesn't the model look thrilled with her new look?
I spent part of the car journey teaching myself featherstitch & chain stitch from my new book, and now feel ever so slightly more accomplished. Don't know if I'll bother with the vest project. I suspect it wouldn't suit me.
