I have to show my hand here. When I was little my Dad was studying to be a graphic designer. A large part of that course and an abiding interest of Dad's was photography.
Have I mentioned the fact that I'm an only child?
So, I think I'll be able to keep pumping out the pre 1985 shots for a while yet.
It's been a busy but fun week, no school for my kids today so I think we'll take in the Pixar exhibition and a bit of pho in Victoria St today; look at that beautiful sunshine beaming coolly down because I don't think it's gonna last!
Happy flashback friday everyone!

These aren't supposed to be BEAUTIFUL flashbacks! That's cheating. But the picture is lovely.
Lovely photo !
I just joined the flickr group today :)
[gasp!] this is SUCH a divine shot! I am not sure how I feel about my very dodgy but nostalgic +++ photos now. This is beautiful.

Thank you all for your comments. It was cheating I suppose and I admit it's my favourite childhood photo. I promise to post some truly awful snaps in coming Fridays. I was a teenager in the eighties remember.
That is a gorgeous pic. And I understand why it is a favourite. Magic.
Looking forward to next week... I figure the eighties will have to make a showing at some stage, and I am cringing already! Arrgggghhhh.
I'm fascinated by adults who are only children, it's a subject dear to my heart, as we have only one, she was hard won, many IVF rounds. Our chances of another are not good, so just the 3 of us. (am I allowed to say though that the one we do have is a corker?! - oops, just did!)
