The pink and pretty quilt is on the go at long last. I have sewn 12, 6inch squares into strips from my pile of lovely fabric. Here's a peek at the confection. This quilt is going to be called Lorna, after my friend's Mum who died earlier this year. The shiny green fabric is from her stash (she tried ALL sorts of crafting) and this combination of colours is so perfectly sunny and happy, just like she was!
