Sunday all day

So. It's Sunday night and there's no competition for the computer but I haven't got much to say. Life without D has settled into regular routine and doesn't feel so strange. His folks called in for lunch. I thought maybe they'd forgotten that he wouldn't be there, but no.
I have finished the baby quilt binding. Very pleased, now just need a name to embroider on it.
I'm going to bung a few photos on this post to jolly it up but I don't have the camera..it's in Beijing.
So here's photo of a bit of the unfinished quilt (old) and a couple of Bali photos we took of the kids at the FANTASTIC Waterbom Park. (which I thought was the best day out!!!) and a photo of a beautiful dry stone wall at the Tirta Empul Water Palace.
Ooooh there's the most dire train wreck of a movie on the ABC right now with shrieking pommy luvs having some wedding day crisis.
Went with some friends and the kids down to the Greyhound Hotel tonight to see a great band called Bluestone Junction. Now that you can't smoke in the pubs it's a much more attractive proposition. Don't know how much the kids enjoyed it but it's still a cool thing to do. It brought back great memories of when I was around their age (10ish)and my folks loved to go to the Vic Hotel at Middle Park Beach to watch jazz bands play. We kids used to get lemonade and packets of chips (bribery to shut us up..we hated the music)and we used to run over to the beach.

Can anyone tell me why blogger has stopped showing the photos I post while I am writing the post and just shows the url-gobbledegook. It's been doing it for a while now. Have I pressed the wrong button (repeatedly for some weeks)?

There are two kind of file tabs above the blogger tool bar (where you get your photos from). I can't remember what they say, but click on the other one and it should go back. Does that make any kind of sense??

Also, I don't have your e-mail address and can't seem to see it. E-mail me (from my blogger profile page) and I will send my address. I know two little girls who would love that poster. Very kind offer, thanks Emma!

I was looking at those great photos of your kids thinking... how can they POSSIBLY be swimming in this weather??? (and not be a deep shade of blue!) and then I read on and realised they were taken in Bali! Well - that makes more sense.
